Success Story - Rady Grubbs

My name is Rady Grubbs, and this is the story of my journey from homelessness to

independence. When I arrived in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, in 2022, I found myself

homeless and in need of shelter. Through this period, I obtained temporary shelter

from the Pine Bluff Salvation Army. During my stay at the shelter, I also met

Shaneka Hamilton, the founder of Lula Mae’s Day Center, which offers great

programs to assist homeless individuals and families in gaining stability. As a

result of the assistance provided by Lula Mae’s Day Center, I was able to prepare a financial plan and locate my apartment, where I am currently living. As a result of

the generosity and services provided by Shaneka Hamilton and Lula Mae’s Day

Center, I am forever thankful.
