LMDC will serve as a resource to support individuals’ families and communities with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to sustain a quality, self-sufficient lifestyle while becoming positive contributors to their community and society
Our Vision
LMDC, Inc. will strive to dispel the poverty cycle of individuals served by promoting educational, economical and social programs that inspire the homeless population to live according to their purpose and not by their circumstance.
Provide early and consistent education and reinforcement that teach and demonstrate the benefits of education, living a controlled lifestyle and making good decisions. Through after school enrichment, Weekly and monthly workshops. LMDC encourages participants to think about their future and career path at an early age, educates participants on the consequences of literacy, drugs, alcohol and tutors and mentors youth and young adults in a secure environment to prepare them for success as they matriculate through whatever their situation or struggles they may be faced with overcoming.
To provide: (1) financial seminars on checkbook maintenance, debt and credit repair, stocks and investments and mortgage comprehension for sustained self-sufficiency, (2) family, single parent and marriage education classes and workshop to develop character and future orientation methods to strengthen family units, (3) interviewing and resume workshops for interview and employment success in order to reduce governmental dependencies, (4) community service outreach efforts to build esteem, increase community value and provide opportunities for personal gratification, (5) tutoring for personal efficacy and professional ability and appeal, and (6) drug, alcohol and smoking awareness classes for accountability and healthier lifestyles.
